The
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
Class 10 and 12 Board Exam results are most likely to be declared in the 3rd
week of May 2014 said a CBSE official. The office of the Controller of
Examination (CoE) of CBSE at New Delhi reportedly said the date of declaration
of these results is yet to be decided though, CBSE Class XIIth 2014 results
are expected to be out in 3rd week of May while CBSE Class Xth
results 2014 are expected to be announced in the last week of May.
CBSE
2014 Class X and Class XII results can be accessed at the official website of
the CBSE, kept especially to display CBSE Results (http://cbseresults.nic.in).
The CBSE Board Exam results can also be obtained through SMS services as were provided
in 2013 by different sources including CBSE.
The
CBSE Class X and Class XII Examinations 2014 were conducted during March and
April, 2014.
It may be recalled here that last year 98.76 percent students qualified the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 Board Exam which was marginally up from 98.19 percent in 2012. Like 2013 in 2012 also, girls outperformed boys both in the CBSE Class 12 and Class10 results.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a board of education that works
under the Union government of India. The board came into being in the year,
1952 and caters to all the Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Jawahar Navodaya
Vidyalayas, schools approved by the Central government and private schools. The
CBSE is responsible for conducting examinations for Class 10 called, All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and Class 12 called, All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) besides quite a few other examinations.
More than 13.28 lakh students have appeared for Class 10 or All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) in 2014 which is an increase of about 5.5 per cent as compared to 2013. Out of this a total of 7.93 lakh students are boys, while a total of 3180 are differently-able students who have appeared in Class 10 exam. According to an unverified source, over 22.65 lakh students appeared in Class 12th or All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) in 2014.
